Job summary

TalentBurst, Inc. is seeking a Travel RN for the Emergency Department in Corpus Christi, TX. This 13-week assignment runs 7pm–7am, with a focus on ED patient care and rapid response in a high-acuity unit.

The candidate must have at least 2 years of ED RN experience and hold BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications, with ENPC or PALS preferred. This travel role demands strong neuro and cardiac skills and a high-energy, fast-paced approach.

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, ENPC or PALS are required for travel ED RN roles.
• CPI and TNCC certifications are commonly requested for ED travel assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency department nursing care for travel assignments.
• Perform STEMI, stroke/TPA and RSI procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with ED team to ensure patient safety and efficient throughput.

• Location: Doctors Regional
• Address: 3315 S. Alameda
• Floor: Emergency Dept.
• Number of Beds - 12
• Number of Staff – 6-8
• Day Shift – 5-7 RNs, 1 ER Tech (11a-11p), 1 Unit secretary (9a-5p M-F)
• Night Shift – 5-6 RNs, 1 ER Tech(11a-11p), 1 Unit secretary (5p-1a M-F)
• Patient Ratios – 4:1

Skill Set Most recruited for

Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
