Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab RN for a busy cardiac lab in Terre Haute, IN. This travel opportunity requires 2+ years of Cath Lab experience, Cerner charting proficiency, and STEMI call availability. Open positions: 2.

You'll perform 15-20 procedures per day across peripheral vascular and cardiac interventions, including EP rhythm management. Shifts are four 10-hour days (6a–4:30p) with on-call seven days a cycle, plus a built-in four-day weekend.

Qualifications

Active IN RN license or compact license required.
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required.
Cerner charting experience required.
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
EP experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform 15-20 procedures per day in a busy Cardiac Cath Lab.
Work across peripheral vascular and cardiac interventions including EP rhythm management.
Four 10-hour day shifts, 6a-4:30p when not on call.
On-call rotation of 7a-5:30p on call days, every 4 weekends.
6-week schedule with a built-in four-day weekend.
On-call coverage is one night per week unless Friday call shifts weekend.
Uses Cerner EMR for charting.
Must take STEMI call and be flexible for extra shifts as needed.
Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
Two Cath Lab RN positions urgently needed.
Radius rule of 100 miles applies; intra-radius rules affect eligibility.

Acute care setting in a Cardiac Cath Lab performing 15-20 procedures per day
Wide variety of procedures including peripheral vascular intervention, cardiac intervention, and cardiac rhythm management including EP
Four ten-hour day shifts, 6a-4:30p when not on call
On-call rotation of 7a-5:30p on call days, occurring every 4 weekends
Schedule runs on a six-week rotation with a built-in four-day weekend
On-call coverage is one night per week until the call day falls on a Friday, at which point call covers the weekend
Uses Cerner as the EMR
Required to take STEMI call and show flexibility to help cover extra call shifts as needed
Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
Two Cath Lab RN positions needed urgently
Radius rule of 100 miles applies; candidates within 50 miles will not be accepted, and those within 50-100 miles considered at a reduced bill rate
