Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a day shift with electrophysiology experience and at least 2 years in the Cath Lab. The role requires TX or Compact RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and no gaps in employment in the past year.

The position involves a 1:1 patient ratio on a 2-bed unit, day schedule 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, and on-call duties every other week. Travel and licensure reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required.
• Electrophysiology experience required.
• Certifications must not expire within 30 days of assignment start.
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for invasive cardiac procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratio on a 2-bed unit.
• Adhere to day shift schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
• Assume on-call responsibilities 7 days every other week.
• Utilize MEDHOST and MACLAB EMR systems.
• No 48-hour option or block scheduling available.
• Collaborate with healthcare team using nursing process and cath lab instrumentation.
• Scrub color provided by facility.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted.
• RTO requests must be less than one week.
• Past CHS staff within 2 years not considered.

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Electrophysiology experience required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Cardiac Cath Lab unit within a hospital setting
• 1:1 patient ratio with a 2-bed unit
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• On-call responsibilities required 7 days every other week
• EMR systems used: MEDHOST and MACLAB
• No 48-hour option or block scheduling available
• Provide professional nursing care supporting invasive cardiac procedures in the Cath Lab
• Assume responsibility and accountability for assigned patients throughout the procedural timeframe
• Collaborate with the healthcare team utilizing the nursing process and specialized cath lab instrumentation
• Scrub color provided by facility
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
