Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Cath Lab RN for a day-shift travel assignment in New Jersey.

Requirements include an active NJ or compact RN license, ACLS and BLS, and at least 2 years in a cardiac cath lab, with PCI and IABP/Impella experience. The position runs 4×10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with 7–10 days of on-call per month; travel housing and licensure reimbursement are available, and TEE and Epic charting experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active NJ or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience.
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, PCI, IABP, and Impella.
• TEE and Epic charting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• On-call requirement of 7-10 days per month.
• First-time travelers accepted; reside outside 50-mile radius to be eligible.
• Former staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler.

Job description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN with at least 2 years of interventional cardiac cath lab experience and NJ or compact RN licensure for a day-shift travel assignment.

Requirements

• Active NJ or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures including diagnostic and interventional catheterizations
• Experience with left and right heart catheterization and Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI)
• Experience with IABP placement/removal and Impella insertion
• Experience with Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE) preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Work in an Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call requirement of 7-10 days per month
• First-time travelers are accepted for this unit
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former staff must wait at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• No travel pairs or groups accepted for this assignment
• All requested time off must be listed at time of consideration
