Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN with 2+ years of cardiac cath lab experience for a day shift position at a Level III trauma teaching hospital in North Carolina. This role requires NC or compact RN licensure, Epic EMR proficiency and no recent licensure actions.

Travelers welcome; flexible RTO policy and housing/licensure reimbursements are part of the benefits package, with a 5x8 schedule on days and the ability to float between campuses.

Qualifications

• Active NC state or compact RN license required (pending license not accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• No background or license actions within the past 12 months.
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cath Lab unit of a short-term acute care hospital.
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Must be willing and able to float between both affiliated campuses.
• Uses Epic EMR system.
• Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital setting.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Maximum of 4 days RTO permitted, subject to manager discretion.
• May request RTO for one major holiday only.
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the main campus are not eligible.
• Former employees must be separated from the facility for at least one year before returning as a traveler.
• Extension policy allows one extension for day shift assignments, after which a 6-month separation is required before reapplying.
