American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Cath Lab/EP RN for a day-shift acute care hospital assignment requiring CA RN licensure and on-call availability.

The position includes a 5x8 hour day shift (6:30 AM–3:00 PM), on-call overnight shifts with a team, and benefits such as insurance, housing allowance, and licensure/travel reimbursements.

Qualifications

Active CA RN license required (must be in hand at time of consideration).
Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab/EP RN experience required.
Charting system experience required (Mediteach).
Two professional references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab department of an acute care hospital with 392 staffed beds.
Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including left and right heart catheterizations.
Monitor pulmonary artery lines/Swan Ganz catheters and administer procedural sedation.
Interpret and manage dysrhythmias during procedures.
Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
On-call required, approximately 7 overnight call shifts per 14-day pay period, typically staffed in teams of 3 to 4.
Uses Meditech charting system.
May be required to float between sister facilities near the contracted site.
Any scrub color permitted
Free parking available on-site
Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day
All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront; post-offer RTO requests may not be accommodated
Former Providence permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
Candidates residing within 50 miles may be considered local and accepted at a lower bill rate
Candidates must disclose any prior work history with Providence facilities, including dates and locations, as part of consideration
