American Traveler is seeking an experienced Electrophysiology Lab RN for a 13-week day shift assignment. Requires active RN license (compact) with 2+ years EP experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Position features a Monday–Friday schedule, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM with potential overtime and on-call duties. Travel/bedside duties, patient monitoring, and moderate sedation expertise are essential.

Qualifications

Active RN license (Multi-State/Compact) required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of Electrophysiology Lab experience required
Experience with circulating, monitoring, and assessment during moderate sedation required
Epic EMR experience required
Must pass a Basic/Advanced Dysrhythmia test with 80%+
Full date of birth, SSN, and RTO required for consideration

Responsibilities

Care for adult-geriatric patients in the EP Lab during procedures
Monitors and circulates during EP procedures involving moderate sedation
Adheres to unit schedule: 6:45 AM–3:15 PM, weekdays, with late shifts
Overtime may occur; on-call duties required
Floating to units within competencies as needed
Uses Epic and Change Healthcare charting systems
Orientation held weekly for RN/LPN positions
Maintain primary commitment to this contracted facility

Job description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Electrophysiology Lab RN with a minimum of 2 years EP experience and Epic proficiency for a 13-week day shift assignment.

Requirements

Active RN license (Multi-State/Compact) required, on file at time of consideration
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of Electrophysiology Lab experience required
Experience with circulating, monitoring, and assessment during moderate sedation required
Scrub experience preferred
Epic EMR experience required
Must pass a pre-assignment Basic and Advanced Dysrhythmia (rhythm strip) test with a score of 80% or higher
Full date of birth, Social Security number, and RTO required for consideration

Responsibilities

EP Lab setting caring for adult-geriatric patients with all cardiac rhythm issues
Monday through Friday schedule, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, with rotating late shifts
No weekends or holidays required
Late shift staff remain until all procedures for the day are completed, which may result in overtime
On-call responsibilities include mandatory late stays
Floating required to units within competencies
Uses Epic and Change Healthcare charting systems
Responsibilities include circulating, monitoring, and patient assessment during EP procedures involving moderate sedation
Orientation held every Wednesday for RN/LPN positions
Facility-provided scrub color per unit dress code
COVID vaccine and flu shot are not required; if declined, a mask must be worn at all times except during meals
Fingerprinting process must begin within 48 hours of offer acceptance
Complete availability and scheduling flexibility required, as this is non-negotiable
Contracted position at this facility must be maintained as primary commitment above any other work
First week does not include guaranteed hours
All compliance documents due 7 days before start date
Candidates must not have worked in a permanent or per diem role at this facility within the last 12 months
