Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an EP Lab assignment in Texas. The role requires at least 2 years of dedicated EP experience and on-call availability.

Work in a high-volume EP lab within a hospital, with a 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM day shift, 1:1 patient ratio, and on-site support. Travel benefits include housing allowance and licensure reimbursement; must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Texas or Compact)
• Minimum of 2 years of dedicated EP experience
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Work in a single-lab EP Lab unit within a hospital setting
• Team consists of 3-4 staff per procedure including RNs, techs, supervisor, and anesthesia
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Uses Philips equipment and Meditech EMR
• Day shift 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call requirement
• Performs standard implant procedures and Watchman procedures in a high-volume EP lab

• Team consists of 3-4 staff per procedure including a mix of RNs, techs, supervisor, and anesthesia
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Uses Philips equipment and Meditech EMR
• Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On‑call requirement
• Performs standard implant procedures, all EP ablation cases except VT, and Watchman procedures in a high‑volume, fast‑paced lab
• Provide nursing care in a busy, high‑volume EP lab requiring a strong sense of urgency
• Scrubs are provided by the hospital
• Must reside outside a 50‑mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• Unit recognized with the 4th highest engagement score in the hospital
