American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab travel assignment in Missouri. You will work in a 4-room EP Lab handling arrhythmia cases, Watchman/LAA closure, and complex cath procedures on a day-shift schedule.

Requirements include MO or compact licensure, BLS/ACLS, EP/cath lab experience (2+ years), scrubbing skills, and strong Epic charting experience. Travel housing and reimbursements offered.

Competenze

• Active RN license in Missouri or compact at time of consideration.
• Must hold Kansas and Missouri licenses (or compact) due to floating needs.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years EP/cath lab experience with no more than 90 days employment gap in the past year.
• Scrub procedure experience required.
• EP lab skills including arrhythmia induction, cardioversion, Watchman, and LAA closure.
• Epic charting experience required.
• Two professional references from supervisor and charge RN within past year.

Mansioni

• Day shift 5x8 hours, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab position requiring 2 years of recent specialty experience and a Missouri or compact RN license in hand.

Requirements

• Active RN license, Missouri or compact in hand at time of consideration
• Both Kansas and Missouri (or compact) license required due to floating needs
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent EP/cath lab specialty experience required, with no employment gap greater than 90 days in the past year
• Scrub procedure experience required
• Proficient in a wide range of EP lab skills including arrhythmia induction, cardioversion, tilt table study, pacemaker insertion, and vascular closure systems
• Experience administering and monitoring procedural sedation and related medications (antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, vasopressors, thrombolytics, reversal agents)
• Skilled in IV therapy, central line assistance, blood product administration, and PICC/port care
• Epic charting experience required
• Two professional references required, one from a supervisor or above and one from a charge RN, both within the past year
• Social Security number required at time of consideration

Responsibilities

• Work in a 4-room EP Lab setting
• Performs EP lab and cardiac cath lab procedures including pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction, right heart catheterization, Watchman procedure, and LAA closure
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• 1:1 patient ratio
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required between departments, units, and facilities, including scheduled floating to SLE on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
• Uses Epic charting system
• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity EP Lab environment performing complex cardiac procedures
• Scrubs provided by facility
• First-time travelers are accepted, including those with staff (non-travel) experience in the specialty
• Maximum RTO of 7 days allowed, finalized at time of consideration with no changes after submission
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be considered, as local candidates are not accepted
• Previous BJC or Saint Luke's employees must wait 18 months with a 3-month break in service, or 1 year if previously a permanent employee, before returning as a traveler
• Candidates currently under contract with BJC may not cancel to accept a different BJC assignment
