Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an Electrophysiology Lab position in Billings, MT. The ideal candidate has 2+ years EP experience, MT or compact RN licensure, and current BLS/ACLS certifications.

You will work in a 4 Cath Lab plus 1 hybrid EP Lab setting averaging 15 patients per day, with 10-hour shifts from 0645-1715. Travel-ready RNs are welcome; orientation includes facility NEO and unit-specific training.

Qualifications

• Active RN license MT or compact valid and current.
• BLS and ACLS certifications current.
• Minimum 2 years EP experience.
• Experience with moderate sedation and drip management.
• EP scrub experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for EP procedures including pacemaker and defibrillator implants, lead revisions/extractions, and ablations.
• Work in a 4 Cath Lab plus 1 hybrid EP Lab setting averaging 15 patients per day.
• 10-hour day shifts from 0645-1715.
• Closed on weekends with on-call rotation 2-3 times per week and holiday coverage.
• Orientation includes facility NEO plus 1-2 weeks of unit-specific training.
• RTO requests go through the manager for approval.

Job description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an Electrophysiology Lab position requiring 2+ years of EP experience and MT or compact RN licensure.

Requirements

• Active RN license (MT or compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in EP required
• Experience with moderate sedation and drip management required
• Experience scrubbing EP cases preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Work in a 4 Cath Lab plus 1 hybrid EP Lab setting averaging 15 patients per day
• Case types include RFA/RPFs, lead changes/revisions/extractions, Micra/Avera devices, pacemakers, and PM/Defib procedures
• 10-hour day shifts from 0645-1715
• Closed on weekends with no overnight call, but will rotate on a late team 2-3 times per week
• Holiday coverage required on-call for 50% of holidays per contract
• May float within specialties if trained and comfortable
• Uses Cerner EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, Xper Philips PACS, Intellaspace IABP, Philips c-arm, and Siemens Zego for hybrid cases
• Schedule created 4 weeks at a time, provided 3-4 weeks prior to start
• Provide direct patient care for electrophysiology procedures including pacemaker and defibrillator implants, lead revisions/extractions, and ablations
• Supported by a part-time transporter, scheduler, Charge RN, Lead Tech, 24/7 RT, Rapid Response/Code Team, and on-call cardiologist
• Orientation includes facility NEO plus 1-2 weeks of unit-specific orientation
• Scrubs provided and free parking available
• RTO requests go through the manager for approval
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
