Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an EP Lab Technologist in Billings, MT. You will join a busy EP Lab with 4 cath labs and a hybrid room, scrubbing and supporting RFA/RPFs, pacemaker and device cases, using Cerner EMR and Philips/SIEMENS equipment.

Requires 2+ years in EP Lab, ARRT/CCI-RCIS/RCES or CVT certification, BLS/ACLS, state license if applicable. 10-hour day shifts, no overnight call, 50% holiday coverage; travel-friendly benefits and housing allowances.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of EP Lab experience.
• Certification required: ARRT, CCI-RCIS, CCI-RCES, or CVT.
• State license required if applicable.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Experience scrubbing and panning simultaneously.
• Experience with RFA/RPFs, lead changes/revisions/extractions, Micra/Averis devices, pacemakers, and PM/Defib procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work in an EP Lab with 4 cath labs plus 1 hybrid room.
• Average census of 15 patients per day.
• Patient cases include RFA/RPFs, lead changes/revisions/extractions, Micra/Averis devices, pacemakers, and PM/Defib implants.
• Uses Cerner EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, Philips Xper PACS, Intellaspace IABP, Philips C-arm, and Siemens Zego for hybrid cases.
• 10-hour day shifts from 0645-1715.
• Unit closed on weekends.
• No overnight call, but staff join a 'late' team 2-3 times per week.
• Holiday coverage required for 50% of holidays per contract, call only.
• Potential to float within specialties if trained and comfortable.
• Department supported by a part-time transporter, scheduler, Charge RN, Lead Tech, 24/7 RT coverage, 24/7 Rapid Response/Code Team, 24/7 on-call cardiologist, and Manager/Supervisor.
• Facility orientation includes NEO plus 1-2 weeks of unit-specific orientation.
• Schedules are created 4 weeks at a time and released 3-4 weeks prior to the start of the schedule.
• RTO requests go through the unit manager.
• Scrubs provided.
• Free parking available.
• First-time travelers will be considered.
