Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CVICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Colorado. Active CO or compact RN license required along with two-dose COVID-19 vaccination or approved declination. Night shifts (1900-0730), 36 hours per week, with floating to AdventHealth locations region-wide as needed.

Candidate must be able to float to additional floors and comply with facility call-off policies. Local candidates accepted at traveler rates; permanent employees must be separated before returning as

• Notified at least 2 hours prior to shift for floating outside the primary site.

Job description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring a CO or compact RN license and night shift availability.

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or compact) currently in hand
• COVID-19 vaccination card (two doses) or approved declination required for consideration

Responsibilities

• CVICU/OHRU unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift, 1900-0730, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• No on-call requirements
• Float to other floors as helping hands as needed
• Willingness to float between AdventHealth locations in the region (Avista, Castle Rock, Littleton, Parker, Porter) as needed
• Notified at least 2 hours prior to shift for floating outside the primary site
• Provide critical care nursing to cardiovascular ICU patients
• Must comply with facility call-off policy; calling off on a weekend or holiday may result in rescheduling to another weekend or holiday
• No radius rule; local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Permanent employees must be separated from the facility for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
