Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiovascular ICU RN for a night shift assignment in Charleston, SC. The CVICU nurse will provide critical care to cardiovascular patients on a 13-week assignment.

Active SC or Compact RN license, NIH Stroke Certification, BLS/ACLS, and at least 2 years of CVICU/ICU experience are required. Travelers outside a 50-mile radius are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Active SC or Compact RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted, must not expire within 30 days of start)
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU or ICU experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSN not accepted)
• One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri candidates)

Responsibilities

• Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment length
• Provide critical care nursing to cardiovascular ICU patients
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify; local candidates will not be considered
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
