Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an RN for a Cardiovascular ICU role in Colorado. The position requires 2+ years CVICU experience and a CO or compact RN license. Certifications include BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.

The role involves night shifts (3x12hr, 1900-0730), weekend work, and no on-call duties. EPIC will be used for documentation and nurses may float within competency. ASN is required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience required
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Certifications must not expire prior to start date

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intensive Care Coronary unit of a hospital
• Night shift schedule: 3x12hr shifts, 1900-0730
• Weekend shifts required
• No on-call responsibilities
• May float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• Uses Epic for clinical documentation
• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for cardiovascular ICU patients
• Provide patient and family health teaching and counseling
• Monitor and review therapy and treatment plans
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this assignment
