Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVICU RN for night shift work in a Cardiovascular ICU, requiring PA or Compact RN licensure and NIHSS certification.

Shifts are 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), totaling 36 hours per week with every-other-weekend work. Floating to related critical care units is required; no on-call duties apply.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (PA or Compact) currently in hand.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Prior CVICU nursing experience.
• Fingerprinting required prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) unit.
• Night shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM) totaling 36 hours per week.
• Work every other weekend.
• Float to other critical care units, including Hampden Medical Center.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Provide critical care nursing to CVICU patients.
• Tobacco-free campus and substance abuse policy in effect.
• Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at a different pay rate.
