Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position in Georgia. The role requires 18 months CVICU experience and GA or Compact RN licensure, with BLS/ACLS and NIHSS certifications.

This travel assignment features a night shift (3x12 hours), no on-call duties, and a generous housing allowance plus travel and licensure reimbursements. Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.

Qualifications

• Active GA or Compact RN license in hand.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
• Minimum 18 months of CVICU experience required.

Responsibilities

• Cardiovascular/Thoracic ICU setting at a hospital.
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts (36 hrs/week).
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted.
• Former Emory or Houston perm staff must be separated for 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility.
• RTO limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday.
• Only one holiday RTO request allowed per assignment.
• RTO days during holiday periods must be spread out rather than consecutive.
