Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an RN for the Intermediate Care CV Unit in Colorado, focusing on stroke patients with NIHSS certification. The role requires licensed RN with CO or compact license and BLS/ACLS; ASN required, BSN preferred.

You will work 3x12hr day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30, with weekend rotations and no on-call duties. Epic EMR is used for documentation; you may be asked to float to other units within competency.

Details

• Work in the Intermediate Care CV Unit of a hospital setting
• Cares for intermediate care cardiovascular patients including stroke patients
• Schedule consists of 3x12hr day shifts, 0700-1930
• Weekend requirement of 6 shifts within an 8-week schedule as part of holiday rotation
• No on-call responsibilities
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (Single State or Compact) required, CO or compact license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA) required and must not expire prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty required
• Experience working with stroke patients required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• TNCC certification preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care
• Conducts health teaching and counseling for patients
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Holiday rotation coverage is required
• Returning Intermountain permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this assignment
• RTO must be submitted with application

Pay

• $1,990/wk or $1,819/wk local
• Assignment Total (13 Weeks): $25,872
• Annual Equivalent (52 Weeks): $103,487
• Weekly Wages: $702/wk
• Regular Hours: $19.50 x 36 hours/wk = $702
• Weekly Stipends: $1,288/wk
• Lodging: $116.02 x 7 days = $812
• Meals & Incidentals: $68.00 x 7 days = $476
• In compliance with state pay transparency laws, we disclose that the estimated weekly pay range for this role is $1,819 - $1,990. The $1,990 weekly pay shown in this posting, along with related figures, corresponds to the higher end of this range. Weekly travel pay includes tax-free stipends per IRS guidelines. Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
