Qualifications

• Active RN license (CO or single-state)
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications by AHA, not expiring prior to start
• 1+ year of CV/stroke care experience
• ASN required; BSN preferred; TNCC preferred

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intermediate Care CV Unit of a hospital setting
• Care for stroke patients
• Use Epic for charting
• Adhere to shift schedule: 3x12hr days, 0700-1930
• Rotate weekends/holidays with six weekend shifts in an 8-week cycle
• No on‑call responsibilities within assignment
• Float to other departments within scope of competency
• Perform nursing and delegated medical functions per state boards
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate patient care
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and restorative therapy
• Document care per hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Refer patients for further evaluation as needed
• Former staff must be separated from Intermountain facility for at least 1 year

• 1+ years of experience in the specialty required
• Experience working with stroke patients required
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• TNCC certification preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intermediate Care CV Unit of a hospital setting
• Patient population includes stroke patients
• Uses Epic for charting
• Schedule consists of 3x12hr day shifts, 0700-1930
• Weekend holiday rotation required, with 6 weekend shifts in an 8-week schedule
• No on‑call responsibilities
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive/restorative therapy and treatment
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment
