TotalMed RN in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) travel nurse for a 13-week assignment. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS/BLS certifications, and will involve 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years recent acute care experience.
• 1–2 years in PCU/stepdown preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Monitor and interpret monitoring equipment and record vital signs.
• Initiate corrective action based on monitoring data when needed.
