Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Medical Step-Down, Cardiac/Telemetry position in Summit, New Jersey. The assignment runs for 8 weeks with 36 hours per week and 12-hour night shifts. NJ or compact RN license is required along with BLS/ACLS certs and at least 1 year in intermediate care.

Responsibilities include care on the Cardiac/Telemetry Step-Down unit, teamwork, and potential floating to a nearby sister hospital. Epic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Intermediate Care/Step-Down RN experience required.
• Active NJ or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based, patient-centered nursing care on Cardiac/Telemetry Step-Down unit.
• Work night shifts, 12 hours, 7:00 pm–7:00 am, three shifts per week.
• Use Epic EMR and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Float to nearby sister hospital as needed.
