Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of nursing experience, including at least 3 months in hemodialysis.
• 18 months of nursing experience and 6 months in dialysis preferred.
• Critical care experience (ICU/CCU) is preferred but not required.
• Home dialysis experience preferred but not required.
• Must meet all state/licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Caring for dialysis patients in an acute care setting.
• Demonstrating judgment necessary for patient care.
• Cooperating with co-workers to complete job duties.

Skills

Familiarity with dialysis

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Current CPR certification

Ability to read and interpret safety rules
