Baptist Health in Lexington, KY seeks a Registered Nurse to join our Dialysis unit, providing direct patient care for inpatients requiring hemodialysis, plasmapheresis, or therapeutic plasma exchange. The role emphasizes compassionate, evidence-based nursing and coordination of admissions, transfers, and discharges.

You must hold a Kentucky RN license or work permit, have a BSN or ASN, BLS, and ACLS/PALS/NRP as required; those with an ASN must pursue a BSN within 5 years.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
• Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
• Basic life support must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and dysrhythmia class as required by department.
• If ASN with <10 years of experience, enroll in BSN within 12 months and complete within 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care activities on the unit, including rounds, assessments, and treatments.
• Facilitate admissions, transfers, and discharges with patient-centered education.
• Coordinate care planning and ensure compassionate, evidence-based nursing practice.
