Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager for an acute hospital setting in California. Requires 2 years of acute hospital case management and Epic proficiency. Travel nurses welcome with appropriate approvals.

Position features day shifts 5x8 hours, every other weekend, and housing and travel reimbursements. Local candidates are considered with travel pay eligibility based on distance from facility.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required.
• 2 years of acute hospital case management experience performing care coordination and discharge planning.
• Epic charting experience required.
• Prior travel nursing experience required, though first-time travelers may be considered with clinical manager approval.

Responsibilities

• Review admission criteria and coordinate care.
• Discharge planning and needs assessment.
• DME ordering and prior authorizations.
• Use Epic charting system.
• Floating between like units as needed.
• Work 5x8 day shifts with every other weekend.
