Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager for an acute care hospital in Apple Valley, CA. The role requires 2 years of acute care case management and a CA RN license, with Epic EMR experience preferred.

The position is 40 hours per week, Day shift (5x8 hours), start date Oct 5, 2026, for 13 weeks, with one opening. Candidates must be seasoned travelers with solid references and be prepared to meet CMS and Joint Commission standards.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required; pending license accepted if licensed by start date
• Minimum 2 years of acute care case management/discharge planning experience required
• Must be a seasoned traveler with prior travel assignment experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Admission criteria review, care coordination, discharge planning, disease management, needs assessment/DME ordering, plan of care development, and prior authorizations
• Familiarity with CMS, Department of Health, DRG, and The Joint Commission/Core Measures/National Patient Safety Goals
