Job summary

Trinity Health's FirstChoice RT program seeks an experienced Respiratory Therapist for flexible, premium-pay travel assignments across MercyGenesis Silvis and affiliated sites.

Position offers 3x12 days with days shift, travel and per diem opportunities, and reimbursement for licensure/certifications. Local rates up to $60/hr with tax-free allowances; openings across regions.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Graduate of a two-year advanced practitioner - Accredited Respiratory Therapist program; Registry eligible.
• Current RRT credential.
• Valid State License in Respiratory Care if required in the state you are working in.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with patients, physicians and health personnel and management.
• Analytical skills to identify patient needs.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills in a Windows environment.

• Follow and apply AARC guidelines in professional practice.

What you will do:

• Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations and/or regions

• Knows, understands, incorporates & demonstrates standard elements of professional practice per AARC guidelines.

• Acts independently & appropriately within, scope of knowledge & experience in practice area

• Retains accountability for delegation, choices, decisions & outcomes

• Collaborates with key stakeholders & contributes to quality & improvement practices & outcomes

• Exhibits agility & willingness to take on new & additional responsibilities

• Embraces new ideas & cultural differences while managing competing priorities

Minimum Qualifications:

Pay Range: $32.22-$35.00 per hour + Tax Free Allowance if Qualified or $60 per hour for local
Actual compensation offered will be within the range stated above but vary based on factors including experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, and certification requirements, as well as comparisons to current colleagues in similar roles.
