Trinity Health FirstChoice is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a part-time, 12-hour night shift at Loyola University Medical Center. The role emphasizes flexibility to float across hospital locations and regions, with adherence to AARC guidelines and independent practice within your scope.

The position offers premium pay, flexible scheduling, and travel opportunities. Local and regional assignments are available, with additional benefits such as license reimbursement

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Graduate of a two-year advanced practitioner program: Registry eligible.
• Current RRT credential.
• State license as required where you work.
• CPR/ACLS/PALS per assignment as applicable.

What you will do:

• Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations and/or regions
• Knows, understands, incorporates & demonstrates standard elements of professional practice per AARC guidelines.
• Acts independently & appropriately within, scope of knowledge & experience in practice area
• Retains accountability for delegation, choices, decisions & outcomes
• Collaborates with key stakeholders & contributes to quality & improvement practices & outcomes
• Exhibits agility & willingness to take on new & additional responsibilities
• Embraces new ideas & cultural differences while managing competing priorities

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Graduate of a two-year advanced practitioner -Accredited Respiratory Therapist program: Registry eligible.
• Current RRT credential.
• Valid State License in Respiratory Care if required in the state you are working.
• Required to have and maintain the credentials required per their specialty area (ex: ACLS, NRP etc). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association
• Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with patients, physicians and other health personnel and department management during all situations and in line with our mission and values.
• Analytical skills necessary to identify patient’s needs.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills in a Windows environment.

Pay Range: $29.89-33.50 per hour + Tax Free Allowance if Qualified or $61 per hour for local

Actual compensation offered will be within the range stated above but vary based on factors including experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, and certification requirements, as well as comparisons to current colleagues in similar roles.
