Job summary

Trinity Health FirstChoice is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for mobile staffing across hospitals. The role offers premium pay, flexible scheduling, and travel with per diem options. You may work in various settings and regions, with opportunities to participate in a 403B program.

Start date ASAP with nights and long shifts. This part-time position supports float coverage across the network, requiring CRT/RRT credentials and ongoing licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a two-year Advanced Practitioner program; registry eligible.
• Current CRT and/or RRT credentials.
• Valid State License in Respiratory Care as required by state.
• Interpersonal skills to communicate with patients, physicians and staff.
• Analytical skills to identify patient needs.
• Basic computer skills in a Windows environment.

• Float throughout hospital locations or regions as needed.

What You Will Do

• Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations and/or regions
• Knows, understands, incorporates & demonstrates standard elements of professional practice per AARC guidelines.
• Acts independently & appropriately within, scope of knowledge & experience in practice area
• Retains accountability for delegation, choices, decisions & outcomes
• Collaborates with key stakeholders & contributes to quality & improvement practices & outcomes
• Exhibits agility & willingness to take on new & additional responsibilities
• Embraces new ideas & cultural differences while managing competing priorities

Minimum Qualifications

• Respiratory Therapist
• Graduate of a two-year advanced practitioner -Accredited Respiratory Therapist program: Registry eligible.
• Current CRT and/or RRT credential.
• Valid State License in Respiratory Care if required in the state you are working.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with patients, physicians and other health personnel and department management during all situations and in line with our mission and values.
• Analytical skills necessary to identify patient’s needs.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills in a Windows environment.
