Job summary

Trinity Health FirstChoice Muskegon is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for part-time, day-shift mobile assignments. These RTs float across hospital locations, following AARC guidelines and delivering patient‑centered care.

This program emphasizes premium pay and flexible scheduling within a regional and national travel framework. Qualified candidates hold CRT and/or RRT credentials, an active state license, and solid computer skills in Windows.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a two‑year accredited Respiratory Therapist program; Registry eligible.
• Current CRT and/or RRT credential.
• Valid State License in Respiratory Care if required by state.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients, physicians and staff.
• Basic computer skills in a Windows environment.

Description

Position Purpose: Are you an experienced Respiratory Therapist looking for premium compensation and maximum flexibility? Explore FirstChoice – Trinity Health's mobile staffing solution! What you will do

• Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and/or regions
• Knows, understands, incorporates & demonstrates standard elements of professional practice per AARC guidelines.
• Acts independently & appropriately within scope of knowledge & experience in practice area
• Retains accountability for delegation, choices, decisions & outcomes
• Collaborates with key stakeholders & contributes to quality & improvement practices & outcomes
• Exhibits agility & willingness to take on new & additional responsibilities
• Embraces new ideas & cultural differences while managing competing priorities

Minimum Qualifications

• Respiratory Therapist
• Graduate of a two‑year advanced practitioner Accredited Respiratory Therapist program: Registry eligible.
• Current CRT and/or RRT credential.
• Valid State License in Respiratory Care if required in the state you are working.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with patients, physicians and other health personnel and department management during all situations and in line with our mission and values.
• Analytical skills necessary to identify patient’s needs.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills in a Windows environment.
