Job summary

Trinity Health FirstChoice is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for mobile staffing opportunities at Trinity Health Ann Arbor. This part-time night position offers diverse assignments across hospital settings and locations.

You must hold CRT and/or RRT, have completed a two-year RT program, and possess a valid state license where required. Premium pay, flexible scheduling, and dailyPay are available, with travel and licensure reimbursement options within the program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited two-year Respiratory Therapist program; registry eligible.
• Current CRT and/or RRT credentials.
• State license required where applicable.
• Strong communication with patients, physicians and staff.
• Basic computer skills in Windows.
• Analytical skills to identify patient needs.
• Ability to float across locations and shift environments.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout hospital and/or multiple locations/regions.
• Adhere to AARC guidelines and professional practice standards.
• Act independently within scope of knowledge and experience.

What you will do

• Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations and/or regions
• Knows, understands, incorporates & demonstrates standard elements of professional practice per AARC guidelines.
• Acts independently & appropriately within scope of knowledge & experience in practice area
• Retains accountability for delegation, choices, decisions & outcomes
• Collaborates with key stakeholders & contributes to quality & improvement practices & outcomes
• Exhibits agility & willingness to take on new & additional responsibilities
• Embraces new ideas & cultural differences while managing competing priorities

Minimum Qualifications

• Respiratory Therapist
• Graduate of a two-year advanced practitioner - Accredited Respiratory Therapist program: Registry eligible.
• Current CRT and/or RRT credential.
• Valid State License in Respiratory Care if required in the state you are working.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with patients, physicians and other health personnel and department management during all situations and in line with our mission and values.
• Analytical skills necessary to identify patient’s needs.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills in a Windows environment.
