Trinity Health FirstChoice is seeking a Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for part-time assignments across the health system. You will float between units and locations, adhering to AARC guidelines and delivering high-quality care.

The role offers premium pay, flexible scheduling, and travel opportunities with per diem options; daily pay is available and licenses/certifications reimbursements may apply.

Qualifications

• Licensed respiratory therapist with CRT and/or RRT credentials.
• Graduate of an accredited two-year RT program; registry eligibility may apply.
• Current state license in Respiratory Care where required.
• Strong communication with patients and medical staff.
• Analytical skills to assess patient needs.
• Basic computer skills in a Windows environment.

Position Purpose

What you will do

• Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations and/or regions
• Knows, understands, incorporates & demonstrates standard elements of professional practice per AARC guidelines.
• Acts independently & appropriately within, scope of knowledge & experience in practice area
• Retains accountability for delegation, choices, decisions & outcomes
• Collaborates with key stakeholders & contributes to quality & improvement practices & outcomes
• Exhibits agility & willingness to take on new & additional responsibilities
• Embraces new ideas & cultural differences while managing competing priorities

Minimum Qualifications

• Respiratory Therapist
• Graduate of a two-year advanced practitioner -Accredited Respiratory Therapist program: Registry eligible.
• Current CRT and/or RRT credential.
• Valid State License in Respiratory Care if required in the state you are working.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with patients, physicians and other health personnel and department management during all situations and in line with our mission and values.
• Analytical skills necessary to identify patient’s needs.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills in a Windows environment.
