American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift hospital assignment in Dubuque, IA, requiring at least 24 months of hospital or critical access experience and willingness to work across multiple units (ED, ICU, NICU).

You will use Drager vents, Airvo, V60s, and NKV-330, document in Epic EMR, and rotate through ED, ICU, and neonatal units. Night schedule 36 hours/week; some winter holidays required; travel-friendly with housing and licensure support.

Qualificações

• Minimum 24 months hospital or critical access experience.
• Must hold NBRC, BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications.
• Active Iowa license or multi-state license at submission.

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift hospital assignment requiring at least 24 months of hospital or critical access experience and willingness to work across multiple hospital units.

Requirements

• Minimum 24 months of experience in a Hospital or Critical Access setting
• NICU experience preferred
• Active BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Active ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Active NRP certification
• Active NBRC certification
• Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required at time of submission
• License required if applicable
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Professional reference from a supervisor, charge nurse, manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months preferred
• First-time travelers will be considered

Responsibilities

• Respiratory Care unit in a hospital setting
• Must be able to work in all areas of the hospital, including ED, ICU, and neonatal units
• Uses Drager Vents, Airvo, V60s, and NKV-330 equipment
• Epic EMR
• Night shift, 3x12s, 36 hrs/week, 6:00 PM-6:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirements
• No floating required
• Provide respiratory therapy services across multiple hospital departments including ED, ICU, and neonatal areas
• Required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) unless the unit is closed
• Limited time-off requests permitted during the holiday season
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered
• Past UnityPoint Health employees (FTE or PRN float pool) are restricted from travel assignments at other UPH markets per separation policy
