Qualifications

• CVICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respiratory Therapy unit duties on night shift.
• Perform ABG, ventilator management, and nitric management.
• Bronchoscopy assistance and intubation support.
• Nebulizer treatments and HFNC.
• Float to all hospital areas as needed.

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift travel assignment requiring ICU experience and RRT/CRT certification.

Requirements

• CRT or RRT required - license required if applicable
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• ICU experience required
• CVICU experience and Nitric management experience preferred
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Respiratory Therapy unit on the 3rd floor of a 368-bed hospital with 34 staff members
• Patient ratio of 36 UOS
• Uses equipment including V60, Hamilton C1, PB40, PB980, Metaneb, EPOC ABG system, Nitric, and AIRVO
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Performs ABG, ventilator management, nitric management, bronchoscopy, intubation assistance, nebulizer treatments, and HFNC
• Night shift hours from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekend shifts required
• No call requirements
• Must be willing to float to all areas of the hospital
• Team player personality fit preferred
• Black scrubs required for dress code
• Does not accept local candidates
• 50-mile radius rule applies
