American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with 1-2 years of experience and RRT certification for a 13-week night shift assignment.

The role requires NBRC-certified RRT, BLS, and Epic EMR experience, with travel background highly valued. 12-hour nights, weekend rotations, and on-site duties across hospital floors will apply for this travel position in Farmington, CT.

Qualifications

• Active RRT certification through NBRC or equivalent certifying body required.
• BLS certification required.
• NRP certification highly desired.
• 1-2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Prior travel assignment experience required.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Respiratory Therapy unit.
• Adult patient population including respiratory, cardiac, and orthopedic cases.
• Floating to ICU, ED, and general floors including MS, TELE, DOU, and Psych.
• 12-hour night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Every other weekend rotation required.
• Call and holiday coverage required.
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment.
• No holiday time off can be accommodated during this assignment.
• All time off requests must be submitted at time of application.
• Local candidates accepted within 75 miles at a lower bill rate.
