American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) with at least 2 years of acute care and Level II Trauma experience for a night shift at a Level II Trauma short-term acute care hospital.

Responsibilities include providing respiratory therapy, neuro diagnostics, and potential NICU/pediatric unit coverage on a 4x12 hour night schedule. Travel contract experience and Epic charting are required, with vaccine compliance. Local travel is not a factor for consideration.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience with Level II Trauma exposure.
• Experience in teaching hospitals and travel contracts is required.
• Certification in BLS with CRT or RRT; state licensure where applicable.
• Experience with Draeger and Avea ventilators preferred; instrument familiarity essential.

Responsabilidades

• Provide respiratory therapy and neuro diagnostics in a Level II Trauma center.
• Work night shifts (4x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM) and rotate as needed.
• Float between two campuses; may work in NICU and pediatric units.

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) with 2+ years of acute care and Level II Trauma experience for a night shift position in a Level II Trauma short-term acute care hospital.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required, with at least 1 year in a Level III or IV NICU
• Acute care experience required
• Level II Trauma experience required; Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Teaching hospital experience required
• Prior travel contract experience required, with no sub-13 week contracts in work history
• Draeger Vent experience required; Avea Vent experience preferred
• BLS and CRT or RRT certification required, plus state license (license required if applicable)
• ACLS and CPFT certifications preferred
• NRP and PALS certifications preferred
• 1 professional reference required

Responsibilities

• Short-term acute care hospital with 426 staffed beds and Level II Trauma Center designation
• Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics-RRT unit
• Night shift schedule of 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend and holiday work required as needed
• Will float between two hospital campuses as needed
• Travelers should expect to rotate through all hospital units, including NICU and Pediatric units, based on census and staffing needs
• Uses Epic for charting
• NICU experience preferred but not required
• Provide respiratory therapy and neuro diagnostic services within an acute care hospital setting
• May be asked to orientate students or new hires as needed
• Complete pre-start and annual non-billable training modules
• Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
• COVID vaccine and booster required, with religious or medical exemptions only
• Local candidates not accepted; candidates within 75 miles of the facility are considered local
• Returning staff must be gone from the facility for 2 years before being considered as a traveler
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be auto-approved
