Job summary

YAD HEALTHCARE seeks a Respiratory Therapist PRN to travel to multiple skilled nursing facilities and support pulmonary care. You will educate nursing staff, develop and implement respiratory programs, and review plans of care for appropriateness.

Collaborating with rehab staff, physicians, and nurses, you will improve patient outcomes and oversee each facility’s respiratory program, with a focus on quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Active NC license required.
• Experience in respiratory therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to multiple skilled nursing facilities and be responsible for educating nursing staff to monitor and assess pulmonary status.
• Develop and implement respiratory programs to treat acute/chronic illness.
• Review resident’s plan of care for appropriateness.
• Collaborate with rehab staff, physician, and nurses to improve care.
• Be responsible for continuous nursing education and managing each facility’s respiratory program.
