Job summary

YAD Healthcare is seeking a Travel Respiratory Therapist to educate nursing staff across multiple skilled nursing facilities in North Carolina. You will monitor pulmonary status, develop respiratory programs, and review care plans to ensure appropriateness.

Join a team that collaborates with rehab staff and physicians to improve patient care, while managing each facility’s respiratory program and providing ongoing education.

Qualifications

• NC License required.
• Experience educating nursing staff on respiratory status and programs.

Responsibilities

• Educate nursing staff to monitor and assess pulmonary status.
• Develop and implement respiratory programs to treat acute/chronic illness.
• Review resident’s plan of care for appropriateness.
• Collaborate with rehab staff, physician, and nurses to improve care.
• Be responsible for continuous nursing education and managing each facility’s respiratory program.
