Job summary

YAD HEALTHCARE is seeking a Respiratory Therapist PRN to travel to multiple skilled nursing facilities and lead respiratory care programs. The role focuses on educating nursing staff to monitor pulmonary status and implementing treatment programs for acute and chronic respiratory conditions.

Responsibilities include reviewing care plans, collaborating with rehab staff and physicians, and driving ongoing education and management of each facility’s respiratory program.

Qualifications

• NC License is required.

Responsibilities

• Educate nursing staff to monitor and assess pulmonary status.
• Develop and implement respiratory programs to treat acute/chronic illness.
• Review resident's plan of care for appropriateness.
• Collaborate with rehab staff, physician, and nurses to improve care.
• Be responsible for continuous nursing education and managing each facility’s respiratory program.
