Job summary

YAD HEALTHCARE is seeking a Respiratory Therapist PRN to travel to multiple skilled nursing facilities to provide expert pulmonary care. You will educate nursing staff to monitor and assess pulmonary status and develop targeted respiratory programs at each site.

You will review plans of care, collaborate with rehab staff, physicians, and nurses, and take responsibility for ongoing education and managing each facility’s respiratory program.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina license as Respiratory Therapist
• Experience educating nursing staff on pulmonary status preferred
• Ability to develop and implement respiratory programs across facilities

• Develop and implement respiratory programs to treat acute/chronic illness.
• Review resident’s plan of care for appropriateness.
• Collaborate with rehab staff, physician, and nurses to improve care.
