Job summary

YAD Healthcare is seeking a Travel Respiratory Therapist to support multiple skilled nursing facilities across North Carolina. You will educate nursing staff, develop and implement pulmonary programs, and review care plans to ensure appropriateness.

Travel and collaboration with rehab staff, physicians, and nurses are essential as you lead ongoing respiratory education and program management at each facility. NC license required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist with NC license.
• Willingness to travel to multiple facilities across NC.

Responsibilities

• Educating nursing staff to monitor and assess pulmonary status.
• Develop and implement respiratory programs to treat acute/chronic illness.
• Review resident’s plan of care for appropriateness.
• Collaborate with rehab staff, physician, and nurses to improve care.
• Be responsible for continuous nursing education and managing each facility’s respiratory program.
