Qualifications

• Must hold a current NC Respiratory Therapist license.
• Strong communication with nursing staff and physicians.
• Ability to educate and develop respiratory programs.

Responsibilities

• Educate nursing staff to monitor and assess pulmonary status.
• Develop and implement respiratory programs for acute/chronic illness.
• Review resident plans of care for appropriateness.
• Collaborate with rehab staff, physicians and nurses to improve care.
• Manage each facility’s respiratory program and provide ongoing nursing education.
