American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift travel assignment in Cleveland, Ohio. The role requires 2+ years of RRT experience and an active Ohio RRT license, with NBRC and BLS certifications in hand at time of consideration.

Assignment details include 3x12 hour nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), 36 hours per week, a 24-week length, and travel status with potential campus multipliers and site flexibility. Local candidates may be considered on a per-bill basis.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT.
• Active Ohio RRT license if applicable.
• NBRC certification active at time of consideration.
• BLS certification active at time of consideration.
• Active AHA certifications required at time of consideration.
• 1 year combined permanent experience in the specialty for Ohio locations.
• Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor or director within applying specialty.
• Negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen within 12 months of start.
• Background check required; facility does not accept license hits.
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting required within 48 hours of signing contract.

• Background check required; facility does not accept any license hits

Additional Information

• Smoke-free facility requiring candidates to be nicotine-free with no exceptions
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only
• Flu vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Assignments may extend up to 18 consecutive months, after which a 6-month break is typically required
• All RTO requests must be discussed during the interview process
• First-time travelers not accepted; prior travel experience required
