Job summary

FirstChoice - Trinity Health offers experienced Registered Nurses premium compensation and maximum scheduling flexibility through its mobile staffing solution. RNs may be used for short- and long-term assignments across the health system, with nationwide and regional opportunities available.

This part-time role includes float duties across hospital locations, adherence to professional standards, and opportunities for license and certification reimbursements.

Qualifications

• RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice.
• WOCN certification required.
• Minimum eighteen (18) months of recent Med Surg, Tele and PCU experience; two (2) years for all remaining specialties.
• Credentials required per specialty (e.g., ACLS, TNCC) must be maintained.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and across multiple locations/regions.
• Perform nursing process: Assess, Outcomes Identification / Solutions, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.
• Act independently within license and scope of practice.
• Maintain accountability for delegation and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes.

What you will do

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• WOCN - required
• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
• Minimum of eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.
• Required to have and maintain the credentials required per their specialty area (ex: ACLS, TNCC, etc). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association

Pay Range: $71.00 - $76.00. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
