Job summary

Centurion is seeking a Full-time Traveling Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Centurion Eagles Travel Team in correctional facilities across the state of Georgia. The RN provides holistic nursing care under the DON and Nursing Supervisor, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to address physical, psychological, and social needs of incarcerated patients.

Position is full-time with night shifts in Charlotte, NC, and opportunities nationwide.

Qualifications

• RN license required or ability to obtain license in Georgia.
• At least two (2) years of RN experience.
• Must live 50 miles or more from facility and be open to travel throughout Georgia per contract needs.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Corrections experience not required, but preferred.
• Ability to obtain security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within scope of practice.
• Collaborate with DON/Nursing Supervisor and multi-disciplinary team.
• Identify, assess and respond to physical, psychological and social needs of patients.

We are currently seeking a Full-time Traveling Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team in correctional facilities across the state of Georgia. Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.

Qualifications

• Georgia RN license or the ability to obtain a license
• At least two (2) years of RN experience

• Must have open availability to travel throughout the state of Georgia as needed per contract needs
