Job summary

Centurion Health in Mobile, AL seeks a Full-Time Traveling Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Centurion Eagles Travel Team serving correctional facilities across Georgia. Travelers are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees.

The RN provides holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice under the DON and Nursing Supervisor, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to address physical, psychological, and social needs of incarcerated patients.

Qualifications

• Georgia RN license or the ability to obtain a license.
• At least two (2) years of RN experience.
• Must live 50 miles or more from facility.
• Must have open availability to travel throughout the state of Georgia as needed per contract needs.
• Current CPR/BLS
• Corrections experience not required, but preferred.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Full-time Traveling Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team in correctional facilities across the state of Georgia. Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
