Qualifications

• Active California RN license required.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications or completion within six months of hire.
• EPIC EMR experience required.
• Minimum two years ICU experience or completion of an approved ICU training program.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan nursing care for ICU patients across age groups; coordinate with multidisciplinary team.
• Implement evidence-based nursing care, monitor status, and adjust plans with physicians and staff.
• Administer medications and therapies; monitor for adverse effects and document responses.
• Document care in EPIC EMR with accurate charting; ensure confidentiality and regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, nursing staff, and families; participate in handoffs.
• Maintain unit standards, infection control, safety protocols; participate in shift coverage without on-call.
