Start date is 11/02/2026, with housing options available at traveler cost and potential facility-provided housing at monthly rates. The nurse will float between Medical-Surgical and Labor & Delivery units based on census, delivering direct patient care and collaborating with the team to ensure

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license (state licensure as applicable).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in Medical-Surgical and Labor & Delivery environments; ability to float between units.
• Nursing degree from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients on Medical-Surgical and Labor & Delivery units; float between departments as census dictates.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status; administer medications per protocol; assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team; document care in the electronic health record; ensure patient safety and quality of care.
• Respond to obstetric and medical emergencies; implement evidence-based care plans; educate patients and families.
• Maintain infection prevention, safety standards, and regulatory compliance; perform accurate shift handoffs and care coordination.
