Healthforce is seeking an ER Travel Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Plentywood, Montana. Start date 10/01/2026, 36 hours weekly, with days and nights shifts in a small critical access hospital.

Qualifications

ER experience required.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, evidence-based emergency nursing care for adult and pediatric patients in the ER.
Perform rapid triage, initial assessment, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring; administer medications and IV therapies as ordered; interpret monitoring results.
Collaborate with ED physicians, charge nurses, and interprofessional teams to coordinate care across ER, inpatient units, swing bed, observation status, and outpatient therapies.
Document assessments, plans, procedures, and patient education accurately in the medical record; ensure safety protocols and infection control practices are followed.
Respond to evolving patient conditions with appropriate emergency interventions; elevate to physicians and supervisors as needed.
Facilitate discharge planning and patient/family education, ensuring clear instructions and referrals for follow-up care.
