This hospital-level emergency care environment provides nationwide travel nursing opportunities and dedicated assignment support. Applicants must hold an active Colorado RN license, with BLS/ACLS on hire and TNCC within 1 year (ENPC or PALS within 6 months; ENPC preferred).

Qualifications

Active Colorado RN license is required.
BLS and ACLS certifications required upon hire.
TNCC required upon hire or within 1 year; ENPC or PALS required within 6 months; ENPC preferred.
ER/acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care for assigned patients in the emergency department.
Triage patients and determine priority of care based on acuity, presenting symptoms, and safety considerations.
Perform focused assessments, administer medications, start/maintain IVs, collect specimens, and manage wounds as directed.
Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure timely, evidence-based care.
Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record, uphold hospital policies, and operate within the Nurse Practice Act.
Assist with patient movement, procedures, and ensuring supplies and equipment are readily available for care delivery.
Communicate effectively with patients and families, addressing questions and providing clear explanations of care plans.
