Qualifications

Active Georgia RN license is required.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required; TNCC/ENPC preferred.
ER experience: minimum 4 years with both adult and pediatric care.
Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts on a 3-night cycle.
Strong communication and teamwork in fast-paced ER.

Responsibilities

Provide triage, assessment, and ongoing monitoring for adult and pediatric ER patients
Administer medications, start IVs, and perform procedures; assist with resuscitation
Monitor patient status, interpret monitor data, respond to emergencies with care team
Document care in the EMR; communicate changes to team and families
Support patient flow, discharge planning, coordination with ancillary services
Ensure infection control, safety and regulatory standards; participate in QA activities

Responsibilities

Provide triage, assessment, and ongoing monitoring for adult and pediatric ER patients
Administer medications, start IVs, and perform procedures as ordered; initiate and assist with resuscitation and stabilization
Monitor patient status, interpret monitor data, and respond to emergencies; collaborate with physicians and the broader care team
Document care accurately in the electronic medical record; communicate changes in patient condition to the team and families
Support patient flow, discharge planning, and coordination with ancillary services to optimize throughput and safety
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory standards; participate in quality improvement activities as assigned

Requirements

Active RN license in the state of Georgia
BLS, ACLS, and PALS required; TNCC/ENPC preferred
At least 4 years of ER experience with well-rounded adult and pediatric care
Ability to work a night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts; 3 nights per cycle as assigned
Credentialing in process may be considered with conditional compliance
Effective communication, critical thinking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity ER environment
