Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse for an ER travel assignment in Delta, Colorado. This 13-week contract starts 10/07/2026 and features 3x12-hour night shifts with weekend work, in a hospital-level emergency department setting.

Weekly pay ranges from $2,084 to $2,243 with guaranteed hours. Active Colorado RN license and BLS/ACLS are required; TNCC, ENPC or PALS are expected within specified timelines. ER/acute care experience is preferred.

Monitor patient status and respond to changes; collaborate with the team.
Maintain documentation in the EHR and follow Nurse Practice Act.
Assist with patient movement, procedures, and supply readiness for care.
Communicate clearly with patients and families about care plans

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care for assigned patients in the emergency department.
Triage patients and determine priority of care based on acuity, presenting symptoms, and safety considerations.
Perform focused assessments, administer medications, start/maintain IVs, collect specimens, and manage wounds as directed.
Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure timely, evidence‑based care.
Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record, uphold hospital policies, and operate within the Nurse Practice Act.
Assist with patient movement, procedures, and ensuring supplies and equipment are readily available for care delivery.
Communicate effectively with patients and families, addressing questions and providing clear explanations of care plans.

Requirements

Active Colorado RN license.
BLS and ACLS certifications required upon hire.
TNCC required upon hire or within 1 year; ENPC or PALS required within 6 months; ENPC preferred.
At least 2 years of critical care nursing experience preferred.
ER/acute care experience preferred.
Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts, including weekends, and meet the assignment’s guaranteed hours.
Education: current RN degree (as required by state licensure in Colorado).
